A month after the storm that affected the area, the City Council continues to analyze the potential impact on the ground, both on the surface and underground, where an old air-raid shelter from the Civil War is located.
Technical studies will need to determine the severity of the detected ground shift and whether interventions are necessary to secure the area. The council has emphasized that there has been no structural collapse, only a simple unevenness in the courtyard.
As a safety measure, part of the courtyard remains closed to the public. During the recent Festa Major de la Mare de Déu del Camí, some events planned at the Torre del Llimó had to be relocated to Parc del Pinaret.
