The 25th edition of the Ganxet Pintxo officially kicked off on Thursday, May 8, with the traditional inaugural event held at the Llotja de Reus. This popular gastronomic route in the city brings together 37 participating establishments and can be enjoyed until May 24. The venues will offer their culinary proposals accompanied by a small beer or draft Estrella Damm for 4 euros, or a Free Damm small beer for 4.20 euros.
For the third consecutive year, the Ganxet Pintxo maintains its format of a single annual edition and coincides with other prominent city events such as the Festival Roses de Reus and the Trapezi. This synergy strengthens the cultural, gastronomic, and leisure offerings for both residents of Reus and visitors.
This edition holds special symbolic significance, as the route celebrates its fifteen-year trajectory and reaches its 25th edition. One of the highlights of the inaugural event was the recognition of the coordinator of the Ganxet Pintxo since its inception, who announced that this would be his last edition leading the gastronomic project. As a token of gratitude for his dedication, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Reus presented him with a commemorative painting illustrated with his silhouette.
Following the inaugural event, the route officially began with a tasting of five of the participating tapas from this edition, which attendees were able to sample. The Ganxet Pintxo 2026 also includes various parallel activities, raffles, and solidarity initiatives, notably the blood donation campaign linked to the route.
