The campaign, which has already begun to be installed at the Municipal Stadium, will extend to the rest of the city's sports facilities in the coming weeks. The main objective is to continue fostering values such as respect and coexistence, while aiming to reduce unnecessary pressure and prevent conflicts, especially among children and adolescents.
Although focused on sports clubs and entities, the initiative also seeks to make families of young athletes reflect on the impact of attitudes and expectations from the stands on participants' emotional well-being.
The campaign features the participation of 30 male and female players from 30 different sports entities in Reus, who are the subjects of the posters to be displayed in municipal facilities and, in a second phase, in the entities' own premises.
This initiative follows over a year of campaign deployment, which began with a training program for sports professionals. To date, 468 coaches and coordinators have participated in training sessions on emotional well-being, covering a wide range of disciplines and highlighting the sports community's interest in integrating this central aspect into sports practice.
Data collected during the training shows a high predisposition among entities to advance in this area, positively valuing the spaces for experience exchange and agreeing on the need to understand sporting success beyond results. The need for more resources and specialized advice has also been identified.
