This astronomical event has prompted the organization of various activities in Reus, aiming to provide knowledge about eclipses from multiple perspectives. Initially, Tecnoparc was considered as a second observation point, but ultimately only the area around Parc de la Festa will be enabled, offering services, recreational activities, and foodtrucks.

The city council calls for civic responsibility, anticipating a day with high mobility and visitor influx. The mayor emphasized that "all eyes are on a historic day," and the councilor for Culture highlighted it as a "magnificent opportunity" to link science, culture, and heritage.
Activities have already begun with the conference 'May nothing eclipse you!', delivered by an engineer with experience at the European Space Agency, attended by nearly 300 students from Reus educational centers. This initiative seeks to foster scientific vocations among young people, according to the councilor for Economic Promotion, Innovation and Knowledge.
The program of activities, promoted by the Reus City Council and civil society, includes informative conferences by researchers and astrophysicists from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili on June 10 and 17, as well as talks in educational centers. The photographic exhibition 'Under the Same Sky' will also be displayed at the Reus Museum, dedicated to astronomical photography.
Other proposals include the conference 'The Eclipse of the Century', open-air cinema sessions with films like Gravity and Apollo XIII, practical workshops, and family activities such as the 'Bubble Planetarium'. Authorities remind the public of the importance of using approved eye protection, such as glasses with certified ISO 12312-2 solar filters, to prevent severe eye injuries.
