A worker in Reus has been admitted to Sant Joan hospital after a ten-meter fall while repairing an air conditioner in an industrial building in the AgroReus industrial park.

An operator was injured this Monday midday after falling from a considerable height while carrying out maintenance work in an industrial building in the AgroReus industrial park, in Reus. The alert to the emergency number 112 was received shortly before noon, reporting that a person had fallen from a height of approximately 10 meters.
Emergency services, including Mossos d'Esquadra officers, SEM ambulances, and Bombers units, were dispatched to the scene on Ignasi Iglèsies street. According to initial reports, the worker was repairing an air conditioning unit on the building's roof when, for reasons yet unknown, they lost their balance and fell to the ground.
Despite the apparent severity of the fall, the worker's injuries appear to be mainly bruises and possibly some fractures, a fortunate outcome given the height from which they fell. They were transported conscious to Sant Joan de Reus hospital for medical attention.
