The precipitation episode, expected to intensify from midday into the afternoon, could result in accumulations exceeding 90 mm within a 3-hour period in coastal and pre-coastal areas, such as Vandellòs and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant.
In light of this situation, the Vandellòs and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant City Council has issued a series of recommendations to the public to ensure safety.
Citizens are advised to exercise extreme caution and avoid unnecessary travel during intense rainfall. It is also recommended not to approach ravines, gullies, or flood-prone areas, nor to cross areas with water accumulation. Furthermore, the importance of not parking vehicles in ravines, torrents, or other flood-susceptible points is emphasized.
