The organization of the musical event aims to give greater visibility to Toca'm Social, a festival initiative that brings piano music to hospitals, residences, and social centers in the city.
Among the novelties of this edition is the collaboration with the Fundació Tutelar Terres de l'Ebre, offering a musical workshop for its users. The festival also renews activities with the Associació Trastorn Espectre Autista Terres de l'Ebre and the Associació de Malalts d'Alzheimer de les Terres de l'Ebre, where piano-related music therapy workshops will be held.
The social program will also include activities with the Fundació Mercè Pla, both at the Centre Ocupacional de Campredó and the Llar Residència Icària de Jesús, so that users can experience live music and get to know the instrument up close.
Furthermore, the festival will once again bring musical performances to healthcare and residential facilities such as the Hospital Universitari de Tortosa Verge de la Cinta, the Hospital de la Santa Creu de Jesús, and the Residència Diocesana Sant Miquel Arcàngel, with concerts designed for those who cannot attend the other events of the festival.
The 2026 edition of Toca'm will also repeat its collaboration with the Associació Atzavara-Arrels, promoting musical activities for children with the aim of fostering participation, coexistence, and social cohesion through music. Additionally, this year the festival joins the Apropa Cultura program, an initiative that works to facilitate access to culture for people in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion.
