The municipality of El Perelló is hosting its Second Cultural Week until May 17, an initiative featuring a varied program open to all citizens, with activities spanning music, theater, literature, and popular culture.

This event aims to highlight the value of local associations and showcase the work carried out by various entities in El Perelló throughout the year. The program includes musical rehearsals by the Escola de Música Municipal Perellonenca, painting classes from the Associació de Dones del Perelló, and various popular culture activities.
Among the popular culture activities are dulzaina rehearsals, the presentation of new costumes for the giants Bufavents and Airosa, and the fourth giants' gathering, organized by the Colla Dolçainera i Gegantera del Perelló. Additionally, a children's and youth theater workshop will be offered by the Col·lectiu de Teatre Totshicaben.
The cultural week will also feature an open rehearsal by the Coral Santa Llúcia and the traditional spring concert by the Agrupació Musical l'Emburgada, scheduled for Saturday afternoon. For younger audiences, the Pedalada de contes (Story Pedal) has been organized, combining cycling with theatrical storytelling at various points in the municipality.
The program will be complemented by the awards ceremony for the 37th Sant Jordi Drawing Contest and the 16th edition of the Culture Awards. There will also be a welcome event for children born in 2025, coinciding with International Family Day. Finally, the Museu de les Guerres del Perelló, La Rereguarda, will offer open days and free visits to bring local historical heritage closer to residents and visitors.
