Over 900 runners participated this past weekend in the Trencacims Paüls-Terres de l’Ebre, an edition that stood out for the presence of state-level elite athletes and live broadcasting by TV3 and 3Cat.

The thirteenth edition of the Trencacims Paüls-Terres de l’Ebre brought together more than 900 athletes, including the best runners in Spain, who competed in various modalities. Despite the rain and wind that marked Saturday's events, the competition proceeded successfully.
Saturday's events began with the Ultramarató de les Terres de l’Ebre, the 54km Trail with 4000+ elevation gain. The winners of this distance were Franc Rallo with a time of 7:07:45 and Lidia Ramos with 8:38:56. The men's podium was completed by Hanot Echevarria and Marc Casadó, while in the women's category, Alina Pintilie and Almudena González secured second and third place, respectively.
Also on Saturday, the 36km SkyRace Trencacims Paüls-Terres de l’Ebre was held, serving as the FEDME Spanish Club Championship, FEEC Catalan Club Championship, and a Skyrunner National Series Cup event. Raul Ortiz and Ainhoa Garikano were crowned champions of the SkyRace. The Soronea club became the Spanish champion, dominating both men's and women's categories. The day concluded with a tribute to the volunteers at the municipal hall of Paüls.
Sunday featured the 24km Half Marathon, where Aníbal Navarro was the men's champion and Enara Agote the women's champion. The podiums were completed by Jordi Poch and Ricard Oriol for men, and Alaitz Egaña and Paula Adell for women. Additionally, a non-competitive 13 km walk was held, with Esteban Herrero and Inés Egea as the winners.
The organizers highlighted the national exposure of the event, thanks to the live broadcast of the SkyRace by TV3 and 3Cat, which allowed Paüls and the Parc Natural dels Ports to reach a wider audience. The public turnout and the dedication of the 200 volunteers were crucial to the race's success.
