The Generalitat Firefighters worked this Saturday to extinguish a fire that broke out outside an industrial warehouse in Deltebre. The blaze affected approximately 400 square meters of containers holding rubble and rice husks. The emergency services confirmed that the fire is currently stabilized.
During the extinguishing efforts, personnel ensured that no individuals were inside the adjacent warehouses to the fire zone. For safety reasons and as a precautionary measure, a temporary closure of the TV-3454 road was requested to facilitate the maneuvers of emergency vehicles.
The incident was reported at 5:05 PM. Four fire crews were dispatched to combat the flames. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from this fire.
