The citizen initiative will allow voting on five proposals ranging from improving public spaces to creating festive heritage and youth facilities. The presentation took place in the Council Chamber, where the objectives and benefits of each project were detailed.
Voting will be conducted online via the Decidim l'Ampolla platform and in person, from July 28 to August 12. The results will be announced on August 21, 2026, after which the necessary procedures to implement the chosen proposal will begin.
Among the projects are the creation of a shade zone on Ronda de Mar with an integrated pergola, a cat reception area to improve the management of feline colonies, and an educational Traffic Park for children and young people with a circuit and signage.
The proposal also includes the creation of two giants and four 'capgrossos' (large-headed figures) to enrich the municipality's festive heritage, with figures representing a farmer and a fisherwoman, key elements of local identity. Finally, plans include setting up a Youth Center at the Municipal Sports Complex with areas for workshops, games, and social gatherings.
