The program combines cultural initiatives, environmental awareness actions, and gastronomic events that highlight the local area. Among the cultural proposals, the Civic Center (Library) hosts the exhibition 'Acollir, perquè no?' (Welcome, why not?), a social reflection display open to the public from May 6 to 17.
In the environmental field, May 9 will see the GLOBAL BIG DAY – SEAWATCH, a day dedicated to observing and discovering the marine fauna of the Baix Ebre coastline. This activity, aimed at promoting environmental awareness, has limited places and requires prior registration.
Regarding social cohesion, throughout the month of May, the Lifesaver Workshop is being conducted, a practical first aid training for adults. The course, which has already filled all available spots, consists of three sessions (May 4, 11, and 18) and covers topics such as basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of AEDs, and risk detection. This initiative is part of the Gestión-S program, focused on promoting equality.
Gastronomy also plays a prominent role with the XXXV Oyster Gastronomic Days, held from May 9 to 24. Several restaurants in the municipality will offer special menus featuring oysters as the main ingredient. Additionally, on Saturday, May 10, l'Ampolla's fishing port will host the Delta Oyster Day starting at 11 AM, with tastings, live music, and a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors.
With this program, the town council continues to promote a stable offer of activities that invigorate the municipality and enhance its natural, cultural, and gastronomic environment.
