The city of Tortosa will be the stage, from October 23 to 25, for the second edition of the Posa-hi Tu l'Accent festival, an event dedicated to the promotion of dialectal varieties.

This year's program stands out for the inclusion of a singer-songwriter contest called Posa-li Música a l'Accent, which replaces the concert format of the first edition. Participants must specify the subdialect in which they perform their pieces, which will be evaluated by a jury considering both musical quality and the linguistic peculiarities used.
Another relevant novelty is the organization of a round table focused on the modalities of Catalan in the Franja de Ponent. The goal of this space is to vindicate the language in a territory where, according to the organization, it suffers from a constant context of disregard.
Most activities will take place at the Centre Cívic de Ferreries, where the exhibition on the Atles Lingüístic del Domini Català will be displayed. The festival will be structured into six thematic blocks ranging from the academic and pedagogical fields to the relationship between language and fiction, including debates on the linguistic model in theatrical and audiovisual productions.
The program will be complemented by parallel events, such as an interactive closing gala and various shows, including a monologue about the figure of Pompeu Fabra. Although access to the events is free, the organization has enabled a registration form on its website for those who wish to obtain merchandise and discounts on services during the festival days.
