The union emphasizes that the progress made, such as the signing of new collective agreements and the recovery of labor rights, is the result of a sustained strategy of negotiation and legal defense. Among the milestones achieved, the agreement with the Tortosa City Council stands out, which allowed for the cancellation of a strike and established the foundations for a 2026-2029 agreement with cumulative salary increases of over 31%.
On the other hand, union intervention at the Consortium for Environmental Policies of Terres de l'Ebre (COPATE) has been key to resolving conflicts regarding job valuation and staff organization at the new headquarters. Likewise, the new agreement for the UTE Baix Ebre-Montsià consolidates salary improvements of over 27% and guarantees the subrogation of labor conditions for the staff.
Despite these results, UGT maintains open demands to improve conditions at the COPATE Waste Collection Center and the cleaning service of the Amposta City Council. In the latter case, the union has obtained a commitment from the local administration to negotiate a specific agreement once the new service concession is formalized.
