Yesterday, October 20th, the Begur Senior Citizens' Center hosted a new blood and plasma donation drive. Between 5 PM and 9 PM, a total of 28 donations were made. Of these, 23 were blood donations (including 2 new donors and 1 offer), 4 were plasma, and 1 was bone marrow, as these types of donations were also possible.
The council wishes to thank the residents of Begur for their altruistic gesture and invites them to actively participate in future campaigns to be organized in the municipality.
The blood donation drive was organized by the Begur City Council, the Blood Bank, and the Girona Blood Donors Association, with Elisabet Tejero as the Begur Delegate.
