Both days were highly rated by the organization, highlighting the smooth running of activities and the festive atmosphere at the municipal circuit. On Saturday, October 10th, Begur Sobre Rodes featured exhibitions, workshops, and competitions for all ages, with participation from Brave Skate and the association Tot i Amb Tot, facilitated by Jordi Casablanca.
The event included prominent athletes such as Albert Sala, a 14-year-old world champion in pumptrack, and several elite riders. The program offered technical sessions, Open Pumptrack races, and a skate ramp competition, concluding with an awards ceremony.
On Sunday, October 11th, the Catalan Pumptrack League, organized by the Catalan Cycling Federation, gathered riders from across Catalonia for training, timed runs, and prize-giving.
Beyond the competition, the weekend was marked by a festive atmosphere and the collaboration of local entities. The AFA of Escola Doctor Arruga managed the food and beverage service, while a DJ and the Bakanards Begur provided music and entertainment.
The strategy of combining both events over a single weekend, previously successful, has solidified the offering. Youth Councillor Manel Vallès praised the combination, stating, "We've brought together different ingredients that make this formula work. Two consecutive days of activity on wheels offer a lot and make the weekend very well-rounded."
The Begur Town Council is pleased with the event's outcome and reaffirms its commitment to promoting sports and leisure activities related to wheels, in collaboration with local associations.
