A total of 343 children from Palafrugell participated this year in the municipal summer camp, which concluded on Monday, August 31st, with a closing event at the Teatre Municipal.

The municipal summer camp in Palafrugell has closed its edition with the participation of 343 children, establishing itself as one of the most significant summer leisure offerings in the municipality. Activities took place during July and August at the Barceló i Matas and Torres Jonama school sites.
The children, ranging from I3 to 6th grade of primary school, were distributed between the two schools. In addition to the activity program, participants had access to welcome and dining services, facilitating work-life balance during the school holidays.
This year's program included a variety of activities adapted to different age groups, such as mask-making and t-shirt decoration workshops, orientation games, escape rooms, and science experiments. Weekly outings to the local area were also organized.
Among the most anticipated events for the children were the Holi festival, a Talent Show, and a special gymkhana. Additionally, monthly excursions were made to parks like Aquadiver, Planeta Màgic, and Coqui Parc.
The closing celebration was held on Monday at the Teatre Municipal de Palafrugell, bringing together the children and their families to mark the end of two months focused on community and shared leisure.
