The neighborhood platform Prou Excuses, along with the mayors of Baix Ter, has urged the Department of Territory to establish a monitoring commission to address the improvement of roads in the Baix Empordà area. This request was finalized during a meeting held in Parlavà.
The proposal includes the appointment of thirteen representatives who will meet periodically, every four months, with the Government to oversee progress in enhancing the road network, which they deem "urgently needs an overhaul".
The platform recalls that six months have passed since the initial meeting with Territory representatives, and since then, "two more deaths" have occurred on the roads. Despite this, both residents and mayors express "optimism" and acknowledge that "things are moving".
