Palamós CF concludes a season with positive feelings, despite not achieving promotion to Liga Élite, and is now setting its sights on the next campaign with a clear objective: to move up a category.

The Palamós club has made a positive assessment of the current sporting season, as expressed by president Toni Heras in an interview. Although promotion was not achieved, the first team reached the promotion play-off, while the reserve team also competed for promotion. Heras considers the season to have been "very positive" and that, while "there is always room for improvement," there are no reasons to complain.
The club's initial objective was not necessarily direct promotion, but rather consolidation in the upper part of the standings. Nevertheless, the team maintained its chances until the final stretch. The president attributes the difficulties in overcoming the play-off to the numerous injuries and suspensions that affected the squad during the decisive moments of the season.
One of the most significant changes of the season was the change in management. With the team still in leading positions, the board decided to part ways with Carles Polvillo to bet on Marçal Juanola, a local coach familiar with the club. According to Heras, the decision was made after detecting a drop in training intensity and the team's general dynamic. Juanola will continue to lead the first team next season.
Regarding the squad, the club will retain practically the same core group. Heras has indicated that about 90% of the players have renewed, and changes will be punctual to cover absences or take advantage of market opportunities. The president has championed the club's proximity model, with players from Palamós and surrounding areas, as key to maintaining its identity and competing within its financial means.
Looking ahead, the message is clear: "Now it's about promotion," assured Heras. The president acknowledges the influence of various factors in football but argues that Palamós CF must once again aim for the top positions and achieve the leap to Liga Élite. Furthermore, he highlights that the club faces this challenge with an "stable and sound" economic situation, a result of the board's work in recent years.
