Information Day for the Campus of Experience in Calonge

The International University of Catalonia is organizing an open day for people over fifty at Calonge Castle.

Calonge Castle will host an information and open day for the Campus of Experience of the International University of Catalonia, aimed at people over fifty, next Wednesday, May 20.

This initiative seeks to disseminate the educational offer and attract new students from Calonge i Sant Antoni, as well as from neighboring municipalities. The session will also serve to present the fourth year of the program taught in the town.
This year's edition is particularly relevant, as the first graduating class of the Campus of Experience in Calonge i Sant Antoni is expected in 2026.
The day will begin at noon with the reception of participants and an institutional welcome. Subsequently, there will be a presentation of the Campus of Experience and a round table with local students. The program will include the conference “The New Longevity”, given by doctor Salvador Vidal.
In the afternoon, the program will conclude with an open class on opera, titled “Keys to Understanding Opera”, taught by professor Cristina Segura.
The Campus of Experience celebrates its fourth edition in Calonge i Sant Antoni and has consolidated itself as an educational proposal focused on humanities, culture, science, and contemporary thought. The first graduating class, made up of 33 students, has taken subjects in history, art, music, philosophy, literature, and current affairs, and has participated in European mobility programs.
The organization ensures the continuity of the project thanks to the incorporation of new students and the possibility for graduates to continue their training in the advanced senior university program.
