The Nits de Circ festival reaches a record-breaking edition with 29 international artists from 8 countries and the addition of Palamós as a new venue, joining Besalú and Roses.

This year's edition of the Nits de Circ festival is breaking records in both participant numbers, with 29 international artists from 8 countries, and the addition of Palamós as a new venue. The Baix Empordà municipality thus joins Besalú and Roses, and will host 15 nights of performances between June 26th and 30th.
The festival will kick off on August 12th at the Jardins de Besalú, where it will stay until the 15th. The second stage will take place at the Ciutadella de Roses from August 18th to 23rd. Finally, the stage will move to the plaça Sarquella in Palamós from August 26th to 30th, concluding the event.
A large circular stage with 19,500 seats will welcome attendees, who can enjoy more shows than ever with a variety of international artists. Highlights include the participation of the American trapeze group Flying Caballero, winners at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival for their act featuring quadruple somersaults. Also featured will be magician Devid Di Lello, ARgendance Company with malambo, Duo Kriko with aerial silks, clown César Dias, Duo Soma with pole balancing, Stefan Dvorak with equilibristics, and Chris Aguirre with juggling. Artistic director Genís Matabosch will serve as master of ceremonies.
The festival will include a new show with 8 acts without an intermission, lasting an hour and a half, with live musical accompaniment by the Paris Circus Orchestra. There will also be a village area with food trucks.

"We are facing a 'frenetic' ticket sales pace, which has led Palamós to include an additional performance for August 30th."

During the presentation, Matabosch announced that over 9,000 tickets have already been sold, exceeding half of the total. This success has prompted the organization to add an extra performance in Palamós on August 30th.
