The 49th Palamós Christmas Race, one of the most significant dinghy sailing events in the Mediterranean, concluded in Palamós with victories for sailors from Spain, Great Britain, and the Netherlands.

The regatta, which took place in the bay of Palamós, brought together participants from various international categories. The final results confirmed the dominance of teams from these three nations in the main classes, demonstrating the high competitive level of this edition.
Despite the variable weather conditions, particularly strong winds, the organizers managed to hold all scheduled races during the third day, ensuring the validity and fairness of the competition. This was key to the satisfaction of the participants and the overall success of the event.
The Palamós Christmas Race, approaching its half-century anniversary, is an essential fixture in the dinghy sailing calendar and often serves as preparation for larger international competitions. The Club Nàutic Costa Brava/Vela Palamós was responsible for organizing this edition.
