After nine years, this gathering returns to Baix Empordà and takes place in Verges, a municipality that opens its doors to the giant groups and all those who wish to enjoy this deeply rooted expression of our popular culture.
The day's program will begin at 10 AM with the 'plantada' (display) of giants in the Plaça Major. At 11 AM, there will be a parade through the town's streets, followed by presentations and dances in the Plaça Major at 12 PM. The gathering will conclude at 1 PM with speeches.
The Verges Town Council has thanked the Empordà Giants Committee for the trust placed in the municipality, as well as the work of all the groups and entities that make it possible to keep this tradition alive.
