According to the Servei Català de Trànsit (Catalan Traffic Service), one lane of the highway is closed due to the incident, leading to traffic stoppages that extend to Martorell in the southbound direction.
Traffic suggests alternative routes for southbound travel, including the N-340, the C-32 (toll road), or the C-31.
In addition to these main traffic jams, queues of approximately four kilometers have also been reported on the AP-7 between Montmeló and Granollers, and near Maçanet de la Selva, heading towards Girona.
