The UD San Mauro club achieved a crucial 1-0 victory against FC Santfeliuenc last Sunday, thanks to a goal by Bernat Benito, allowing them to move out of the last position in the league table.

This victory, the first in two months, confirms the Anoia side's improved performance and puts them firmly in the fight for permanence. San Mauro is now second to last with fourteen points, just three points away from the safety zone, currently occupied by the Baix Llobregat team.
San Mauro dominated possession and play from the start, while Santfeliuenc opted for a low block, seeking chances through set pieces and quick transitions, without seriously threatening Caleb Martínez's goal. In first-half stoppage time, Marc Gulias missed a clear opportunity from close range.
The only goal of the match came three minutes into the second half, in the 48th minute, when Bernat Benito scored from a rebound following a set piece. After the goal, the Baix Llobregat team stepped up their attack, but San Mauro managed to hold the lead and secure their first three points of the year.
The UD San Mauro lineup included Martínez, Masegosa, García, Enríquez, Benito (replaced by Yáñez at 57’), Escamilla (Cosano 85’), Maymó, Espinosa, Romeu (Aribau 57’), Cañero (Navarro 77’) and Gulias.
