The 'castellera' day, held within the framework of the Xavi Bacardit Memorial, began with three simultaneous 'pilars de quatre', setting the stage for the main 'castell' rounds. The primary achievement came in the first round with the construction of the 5 of 8, known as 'the cathedral', which reflected the intense work carried out in rehearsals.
In addition to this milestone, the 'malva' group showcased its mastery with the 'folres', completing a 2 of 8 amb folre and concluding the rounds with a solid 4 of 8. The performance culminated with the dismantling of two 'pilars de cinc', bringing a successful day to a close despite the unstable weather.
The public filled the 'malves' headquarters to enjoy the 'castells', sharing the day with the Castellers de Sarrià and the Castellers de Cornellà. With the 5 of 8 now under their belt, the group reaffirms its goals and continues to prepare the structures of the high-level eight-story 'castells' for future performances.
The Minyons' next engagement will be on Sunday, May 17, in Sant Boi de Llobregat, where they will seek to maintain the level demonstrated in Terrassa. The event in Baix Llobregat will commence at 11:30 AM.
