Music will be one of the central pillars of the Autumn Festival in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, featuring a program designed to reach all audiences and corners of the city. The event is expanding its stages and distributing activities to encourage citizen participation and avoid large crowds, thereby bringing culture closer to more people.
The aim to increase visibility for local talent is reflected in the inclusion of artists and groups from the city. Furthermore, to ensure music plays throughout the day, midday activities are being incorporated, completing a cultural offering that will accompany the festival day and night.
Nearly a dozen performances by local groups are planned during the musical brunches, at the Estadi d'Atletisme, and in the parc del Vuit de Març. Among the artists set to perform are Vania, Bons Nois, Irene Ribas, D-Sastres, La Estrella de David, Cler, Blaklist, and Fudgel. There will also be a comedy show, 'La Magia de la Risa,' by Manuel Abadía.
The local artist program will kick off on Friday, October 9, with performances by Cler, Blaklist, and Fudgel at plaça de Josep Maria Palet (5:45 PM). Later, at 10 PM, the group Vania will perform at the Estadi d'Atletisme. On Saturday, October 10, D-Sastres will play music at 1 PM in plaça de les Roses as part of the musical brunches. Artist Irene Ribas will perform on Sunday, October 11, at the same place and time. On the same Sunday, Bons Nois and La Estrella de David will give concerts at 10 PM at the Estadi d'Atletisme.
The offerings for seniors are expanded with four music and dance sessions in the parking lot of the Casal de la Gent Gran. On Saturday, October 10, the Orquestra La Girasol will perform at 8:30 PM and offer dancing at 10:30 PM. On Sunday, October 11, it will be the turn of the Orquestra Millenium Grup (8:30 PM). On Monday, October 12, there will be sardanes with the Cobla Sant Jordi (7 PM).
The musical program also includes tribute concerts to El Último de la Fila, Extremoduro, and Alejandro Sanz, as well as a concert by the group Mala Vida, all taking place in the parc del Vuit de Març between October 9 and 12. On Friday the 9th, at 11 PM, there will be the tribute to El Último de la Fila; on Saturday the 10th, at midnight, the tribute to Extremoduro followed by a DJ Amable set; on Sunday the 11th, at 11 PM, a concert with Mala Vida; and on Monday the 12th, at 7 PM, a tribute to Alejandro Sanz.
