The Centre Cultural La Bòbila is hosting a collective exhibition by the Fotosèniors, a group of photography enthusiasts from the Castelldefels Senior Citizens Association, who are displaying their work outside their municipality for the first time.
The exhibition features a selection of works created by about twenty members of the Fotosèniors during last year's photography workshop. This marks the first time the group has exhibited outside Castelldefels, representing a significant milestone for its members.
“
"We are amateurs; we don't have any photography professionals in the group, but we learn as we go. We practice with the different technical equipment we have, such as flash and remote control. This year, we also worked on macro photography."
Workshop participants gain knowledge in editing, lighting, and techniques such as aperture control. This learning is reinforced through practical and theoretical sessions, as well as photographic outings where they capture urban landscapes, people, and elements of nature.
“
"We work on editing, light, or diaphragm technique. Thanks to the workshop, I have been able to consolidate everything that interests me about photography, practicing and improving ourselves."
The exhibition will be open to the public at the Centre Cultural La Bòbila until May 30, offering an opportunity to appreciate the talent and dedication of these amateur photographers.
