The event, open to the public, will be supervised at all times by a notary who will be responsible for drawing up the corresponding minutes and certifying the results. It can also be followed live online.
The event will be attended by the mayor of El Prat, Alba Bou Jordà, the president of the Fundació Família i Benestar Social, Josep Maria Puig, and the president of the Fundació Hàbitat3, Carme Trilla.
This is the second promotion of public protection housing for affordable rental built on public land. The first, with 101 new apartments managed by the Cooperativa Obrera de Viviendas, has been operational since last January.
During the coming months of 2026, a third draw is expected for two promotions by Prat Espais: a building with 72 homes in Eixample Sud and another promotion with 8 homes on Vincente Ferrer street.
With these four promotions, the stock of public affordable rental housing has doubled, now exceeding 700 units.
