The Olesa de Montserrat City Council, through the Department of Gender, Feminisms and LGTBIQ+, is organizing a workshop series titled 'Growing Up with Children' to promote more present and co-responsible fatherhoods.

The municipality of Olesa de Montserrat will host a workshop series focused on modern fatherhood, under the slogan 'Growing Up with Children'. This initiative, organized by the Department of Gender, Feminisms and LGTBIQ+, aims to provide a space for reflection and learning for men who are fathers or are preparing to be, with the goal of fostering active participation in caregiving, education, and family well-being.
Through four participatory sessions, the challenges and opportunities of parenting from a co-responsibility perspective will be addressed. Topics include the father's presence in daily life, their role in each stage of child development, couple relationships, and work-life balance with personal projects.

"Being a father today implies much more than fulfilling a provider role: it means actively participating in caregiving, education, emotional management, and family well-being."
