Residents of Vallirana will soon receive the program of events for the Sant Mateu Festival, which will be held from September 17 to 21. Once again, the program includes cultural and sports proposals, music, concerts, family activities, the traditional popular dinner, and the most solemn and traditional events.
The celebration extends beyond the main days, incorporating pre- and post-event activities such as the vigil and the National Day of Catalonia, making September a month full of activities, culture, and street life in the municipality.
This year, the Festival dedicates special attention to Vallirana's associative fabric, considered essential for making the celebration vibrant, participatory, and rooted in the community. The festival's poster is dedicated to the Drac Apocaleus group, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The City Council encourages citizens to actively participate in the activities, enjoy the music and culture, reconnect with friends and family, and make these days a true town celebration, promoting brotherhood, respect, civility, and commitment to the environment.
