The mobile unit VIDOC (Integral Documentation Vehicle), equipped by the National Police, will be located in front of the Casal d'Avis (av. Pau Casals, 1) from 9 AM to 1 PM. This initiative aims to streamline, modernize, and make the issuance and renewal of identity documents and passports more convenient for citizens.
The main novelty of this service is that procedures can be completed in a single visit, as documentation will be delivered on the spot. This eliminates the need to return later to collect the documents, a process that was common until now.
In addition to issuing and renewing DNI and passports, the mobile unit will also allow for the renewal of electronic certificates for the DNIe and password changes.
To access this service, it will be necessary to book an appointment in advance at the Citizen Attention Office (OAC) by calling 936 580 791. A total of 40 appointments are expected to be handled during the day.
