The El Vendrell City Council will approve the recovery of 144 rotation parking spaces in the Passeig Marítim de Coma-ruga and the Sanatori sector to facilitate access and boost economic activity during the summer season.

The decision by the El Vendrell council aims primarily to reactivate commerce, leisure, and restoration in the maritime centers, especially in Coma-ruga and the Carrerada d'en Ralet street in the Sanatori de Sant Salvador sector. These areas had been identified in the municipal parking plan as points of strained availability during the summer months.
In total, 144 parking spaces that had been previously suppressed will be recovered. This suppression occurred in 2020, coinciding with the start of the construction of the urban center of Coma-ruga and the conversion of Plaça Germans Trillas into a pedestrian zone.
The planned schedule for rotation parking will be from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a maximum limit of three hours per vehicle. This time restriction is key to ensuring the constant flow and rotation of vehicles, thus allowing more visitors to access the beach and local services.
