Rural Agents have extended the restriction for extreme forest fire danger to 76 municipalities in 16 Catalan counties, activating level 4 of the Plan Alfa.

This alert level affects populations in counties such as Alt Camp, Alt Penedès, Alt Urgell, Anoia, Bages, Baix Llobregat, Baix Penedès, Garrigues, Moianès, Segarra, Solsonès, Vallès Occidental, Noguera, Pallars Jussà, Priorat, and Ribera d’Ebre. Additionally, 141 municipalities across 19 counties are at level 3, indicating a very high fire danger.
Access restrictions remain in place for the 8 natural spaces already designated: Montsec d’Ares, Montsec de Rúbies, Baronia de Rialb, Ribera Salada, Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac, Montserrat, Montmell-Marmellar, and Montsant.
