The incident, which occurred at an unauthorized crossing point, has led to the suspension of service with no estimated time for resumption. Rodalies has reported that an alternative road service is being arranged to minimize disruptions for passengers.
Initially, Protecció Civil had informed that the incident affected the section between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Calafell. However, the interruption extends to Cunit, as already indicated by Renfe in its first alert issued at 7:03 AM.
Currently, no rescue operations or further actions beyond the initial traffic halt are being carried out.
