Residents of Masllorenç, Masarbonès, and nearby urbanizations were confined this Wednesday due to a forest fire affecting the area since 12:12 PM.

The fire, which broke out in the forest area of Masllorenç, has led to confinement orders for several urbanizations, including Font d'en Talló, la Pineda de Santa Cristina, Torre Forta de Santa Cristina, and Coll de la Rubiola. The Fire Department reported that the number of intervention crews has increased to twenty-four, with seven of them being aerial units.
Firefighters are primarily working on the left flank of the fire, as the right flank presents greater access difficulties. Secondary ignitions are being addressed about 100 meters away, and efforts are expected to begin on the right flank soon. The head of the fire appears to have crested and is advancing towards cultivated vineyards that could act as a containment line.
Due to the situation, roads TV-2041, TV-2042, and C-51Z have been closed between kilometer markers 17 and 20. The Rodonyà Town Council has also requested residents to remain confined due to the fire's proximity.
The ES-Alert system has instructed the confined population to close doors and windows, stay indoors, and follow the authorities' instructions.
