The Llorenç del Penedès Town Council has commissioned the creation of the Municipal Housing Action Program (PAMH), also known as the Local Housing Plan. This strategic document will serve as a roadmap for municipal housing policies in the coming years.
The primary objective is to obtain a detailed diagnosis of the municipality's residential reality. This will identify the main economic, urban, and social challenges related to housing, assess the current and future needs of the population, and establish the necessary actions to address them.
Based on this analysis, the PAMH will define a municipal strategy with concrete, prioritized, and scheduled actions. It will include an economic estimate for each action, potential funding sources, and the agents involved in its implementation, specifying not only what needs to be done but also how it will be executed.
The drafting of the plan has been entrusted to the specialized firm TerritorisXLM, a practice recognized for its experience in creating local housing plans and urban policies for public administrations. The multidisciplinary team includes experts in urban planning, housing, geography, administrative law, economics, and geographic information systems.
According to the council, the initiative aims to reverse the current housing situation in Llorenç del Penedès by promoting public policies that facilitate housing access for all residents, particularly for younger individuals and those facing greater difficulties, enabling them to continue living in the municipality.
