The Civil Guard of Tarragona launched a large-scale operation this morning targeting an organization allegedly involved in drug trafficking. The operation took place on Wednesday across several municipalities in the Camp de Tarragona and Penedès regions.
Agents from various special units carried out judicially authorized entries and searches in locations such as Reus, Riudoms, el Catllar, Vila-seca, Cubelles, as well as in Vilafranca del Penedès and Calafell.
The judicial case has been declared secret by court order. Currently, no details have been released regarding the number of arrests or the material seized during the operations.
The Civil Guard has stated that further information will be provided once the status of the judicial proceedings allows.
