The event, held on October 22nd at the Business Innovation Centre of Badalona (BCIN), brought together women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, and executives to reflect on how gender biases affect AI systems and their impact on work and business environments.
The main objective was to learn about tools and strategies for promoting more inclusive and equitable artificial intelligence, as well as to showcase local initiatives supporting women entrepreneurs. The meeting also served to strengthen professional networks and create new collaboration opportunities.
The session featured a participatory conference by Sira Vilardell, director of the SORLI Private Foundation, who discussed the generation and amplification of gender biases in AI, analyzing practical cases and presenting tools for more equitable AI. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Barcelonès Nord (ADE), represented by its president Marina Román, and the mutual support network Empresàries Connectades were also presented.
The conference concluded with a networking session designed to foster the exchange of experiences and the creation of synergies among participants.
