The Badalona City Council has launched the Autumn Badabons, a new discount voucher campaign to encourage shopping in the city's shops and restaurants. The initiative, starting on October 26th, will allow citizens to purchase goods with a 40% discount, funded by the council with 400,000 euros.

From next Monday, October 26th at 10 AM, citizens will be able to purchase their vouchers through the website badabons.cat. This campaign, carried out in collaboration with PIMEC, will allow purchases of up to 100 euros by paying only 60 euros, as the remaining 40 euros are covered by the City Council.
The discount vouchers will cover 40% of the purchase price, with a maximum of 100 euros per person and always in multiples of 10 euros. The vouchers will be loaded onto a virtual card and can be used in retail shops under 300 square meters, restaurants, municipal markets, and non-sedentary market vendors who join the campaign. Citizens can purchase vouchers until the 400,000 euros allocated by the council are exhausted.
Shops and establishments interested in joining the initiative can now register from today, Monday, October 19th, on the same website, badabons.cat. Requirements include being a retail business under 300 square meters, a restaurant, service provider, or holder of a market stall license, and being up-to-date with tax obligations to the City Council. Registration will be open until the campaign ends on November 22nd.
The 'Badabons' campaign aims to generate a dual benefit: on one hand, for residents to enjoy discounts at local businesses, and on the other, for businesses to increase their sales and visibility. All detailed information is available on the campaign's website.
