The city of Badalona is participating once again in the 48h Open House BCN Architecture Festival, taking place on Saturday, October 24th, and Sunday, October 25th, by opening 10 unique buildings to the public for free.

Throughout the weekend, citizens can visit spaces such as the former factory Can Gusi, the Quint Licini Garden, the Casa de la Vila (Town Hall), and the Badalona Museum, among others, free of charge and without prior registration.
As part of the festival, on Sunday, a guided tour will also be offered of the Sant Crist Cemetery, popularly known as the Cementiri Vell (Old Cemetery). This site, the oldest in Badalona, is protected as a cultural asset of local interest, as are several of its pantheons and tombs. Prior registration is required to participate in this guided tour.
The 17th edition of the 48h Open House BCN Architecture Festival reflects on the question 'what would happen if, suddenly, there were no architecture?', aiming to raise awareness about the constant presence of architecture in our daily lives.
This year's edition involves 6 cities: Barcelona, Badalona, L’Hospitalet, Sant Joan Despí, Vilassar de Dalt, and Sitges, offering over 200 free activities.
The detailed program for Badalona, including the opening days and times for the different spaces, can be found at 48hopenhousebarcelona.org/zones/badalona/. The general festival program is available at 48hopenhousebarcelona.org/ca/.
