The railway infrastructure administrator, Adif, has announced that the circulation of Rodalies de Catalunya trains will be interrupted between L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Badalona for nine days at the beginning of 2026.
This modification directly affects lines R1 (Molins de Rei/L'Hospitalet de Llobregat - Maçanet-Massanes) and RG1 (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat - Portbou), which share this crucial central section for metropolitan mobility in Barcelona.
The interruption is due to the complexity of the work being carried out around the future La Sagrera station, a major project that requires direct action on the existing railway infrastructure. The cut will be applied from Saturday, January 3, until Sunday, January 11, 2026, inclusive.
Users of these lines must consult the alternative transport plans that Rodalies and Adif will establish to guarantee connection between the affected municipalities, especially between L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, and Badalona.
