The main objective of this call is to award public funds for projects that defend gender equality, sexual orientation, and gender identity. It also seeks to empower individuals, particularly cis and trans women, who are or have been in prostitution, enabling them to gain control over their lives and effectively exercise their social and human rights.
Eligible initiatives must also contribute to improving the network of entities working in this field, fostering synergies among them, and increasing the employability and skill level of participating women. Furthermore, comprehensive support and emergency resources will be provided to individuals in prostitution facing extreme vulnerability.
The call focuses on three specific areas: access to training and employment, attention and advice for individuals in prostitution in closed environments, and access to social and economic rights in emergency situations.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the electronic headquarters of the Barcelona City Council, following the instructions on the procedures portal. The deadline for submitting proposals will open the day after the call is published in the BOPB and will extend for 20 working days.
