The program, key to strengthening the skills of public administration technical staff in gender perspective, took place at the ICD's Centre de Documentació Joaquima Alemany i Roca. The event brought together students, academic, and institutional representatives.
The session featured welcome remarks from the ICD's executive director, Berta Aznar Martínez, the postgraduate program directors Teresa Cabruja Ubach (UdG), Inma Pastor Gosálbez (URV), and Clara Camps Calvet (UB), along with representatives from the Escola d’Administració Pública de Catalunya.
Students presented their applied projects, the result of acquired knowledge, in a session led by academic coordinators Elisabet Almeda Samaranch and Mònica Borrell Cairol (UB). These works demonstrate the integration of gender perspective in various public policies.
This postgraduate program, promoted by the ICD in collaboration with the Escola d’Administració Pública de Catalunya, the Institut Interuniversitari d’Estudis de Dones i Gènere, and the Universitat de Barcelona, has established itself as a benchmark program for training professionals.
The program's objective is to provide professionals with the necessary theoretical, methodological, and practical knowledge to integrate gender perspective transversally across all phases of public policies, from diagnosis to evaluation.

The training complies with Law 17/2015 on effective equality between women and men, which obliges public authorities to incorporate gender perspective in all their actions. Pre-registration for the ninth edition will open in November.
