A delegation from Morocco, comprising prosecutors and judicial professionals, visited the Ciutat de la Justícia in Barcelona and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat this week, with a special focus on the Institut de Medicina Legal i Ciències Forenses de Catalunya (IMLCFC).

The visit allowed for understanding the intervention and institutional coordination protocols of the IMLCFC, as well as delving into the work of the Forensic Assessment Unit for Victims of Human Trafficking. Emphasis was placed on the multidisciplinary assessment of victims and the detection of indicators of vulnerability and exploitation.
During the day, anonymized practical cases were analyzed to identify and share best practices and exchange experiences on different intervention models in this field.
The visit was organized by the Foundation for the Internationalization of Public Administrations (FIAP), an entity of Spanish Cooperation that supports the development of public systems in over 120 countries.
