Various media outlets have reported on the 3rd Congress on Health and Local World, held at the CosmoCaixa Science Museum in Barcelona from September 28th to 29th. The event brought together hundreds of political and professional representatives from the local sphere with the aim of debating the contribution of municipalities to improving people's health and well-being.
During the two days of the congress, two conferences, three round tables, and three workshops took place. The sessions addressed topics such as Integrated Health Areas, the relationship between housing and health, the challenge of longevity, and health innovation.
This initiative is a joint collaboration between the Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya (CSC), the Provincial Council of Barcelona, the Provincial Council of Girona, the Provincial Council of Tarragona, the Provincial Council of Lleida, the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM), and the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia (FMC).
