The event, driven by the Department of Business and Labour of the Generalitat, through the Consortium of Trade, Craftsmanship and Fashion of Catalonia (CCAM), with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the collaboration of the Barcelona Provincial Council, was inaugurated by counselor Miquel Sàmper. 080 Barcelona Fashion aims to enhance Catalan fashion's role as a driver of competitiveness and a meeting point for the fashion ecosystem.
This edition's lineup features 26 brands and designers including Custo Barcelona, Escorpion, David Catalán, and Dominnico, among others. The opening show was 080 REBORN, focusing on reuse and upcycling with the collection NÒMADE, underscoring the commitment to more sustainable production models.
The Open Area will offer live and free access to the entire program. The 080Spot_SpainGallery space will promote designer and emerging fashion through exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops, and debates on social media, AI, and content creation. It will also host brands such as Alexandri Studio, Gau, and House of Hedra.
The 080_BeyondCrafts initiative, in partnership with Artesania Catalunya, highlights contemporary craftsmanship with the exhibition «Ceci n'est pas une sabata», exploring the evolution of artisanal footwear. Participating brands include Castañer, La Manual Alpargatera, and Norman Vilalta.
A new addition this year is PLEC · Barcelona Cultura de Moda, a platform designed to strengthen the cultural dimension of fashion, connecting it with the public and other creative disciplines. It includes the festival PLEC · Barcelona Cultura de Moda · Vol. 1 and PLEC · La 080 en pantalla, which will broadcast fashion shows to public spaces.
The annual TEXMEETING BY TEXFOR 2026 conference will take place on October 21st at the Mirador building, focusing on the application of AI in industrial environments. The event is supported by the Barcelona City Council, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and various sponsors including Port Vell and Marina Vela, MAC Cosmetics, and Wella.
