The Department of Business and Labour, through the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM), and the Barcelona City Council have today presented the 38th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion. The event will be held from October 20-23 at Marina Vela-Port Vell, and will feature 26 fashion shows by designers and brands, the fifth edition of 080 REBORN, and a parallel program including 080Spot_SpainGallery and 080_BeyondCrafts.
One of the notable new features is the celebration of PLEC-Barcelona Cultura de Moda, an initiative by the Barcelona City Council to bring fashion closer to citizens and enhance its cultural dimension. This platform aims to strengthen fashion as a cultural, creative, and civic infrastructure, broadening the perspective beyond the runway and connecting it with Barcelona's cultural life.

The fifth edition of 080 REBORN champions the value of second-hand clothing and promotes textile reuse. Driven by the collaboration of Girbau LAB and the Agència de Residus de Catalunya, it has become an innovative proposal demonstrating how circular fashion can be a space for experimentation and contemporary expression.
The Open Area will offer a free and open space for live fashion show screenings and parallel activities. Within this area, 080Spot_Spain Gallery will host independent fashion and accessory brands, talks, and workshops. Meanwhile, 080_BeyondCrafts, in partnership with Artesania Catalunya, will focus on footwear as a territory for artisanal exploration.
As part of PLEC, on October 21 and 22, the Tinglados del Port Vell will host PLEC · Barcelona Cultura de Moda · Vol. 1, a festival curated by Francesca Tur, combining image, editing, music, art, performance, and conversation. Additionally, PLEC · LA 080 EN PANTALLA will bring fashion shows to various city locations via a mobile screen unit.
The TEXMEETING BY TEXFOR 2026 conference, part of the official agenda of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week, will take place on October 21, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Mirador building, focusing on the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence for the textile sector.
