Four Ukrainian doctors have visited the Campus Clínic Solidari (CCS) in Barcelona to exchange knowledge on war casualty care and lay the groundwork for future medical support projects.

The visit, promoted by the Fundación del Convento de Santa Clara, led by Sor Lucía Caram, brought together the Ukrainian specialists with professionals from the Hospital Clínic in various areas such as traumatology, general and digestive surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, anesthesia, and rehabilitation. Members of the CCS Executive Commission also attended.
During the meeting, firsthand insights were shared on the organizational adaptations and challenges of treating numerous casualties, both civilian and military, in hospitals near the front lines without disrupting regular healthcare services. This collaboration opens the door to future projects and includes the CCS's commitment to support the acquisition of surgical medical supplies.
The day concluded with a tour of the facilities at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona. This initiative highlights the solidarity of the six institutions that make up the Campus Clínic Solidari: Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, IDIBAPS, ISGlobal, University of Barcelona, Fundació Clínic per a la recerca Biomèdica, and CAPSBE.
