The Barcelona City Council has opened the application period for grants aimed at cultural projects of interest to the city, of an exceptional and non-periodic nature, to be carried out during 2026.

The call for applications, which can be consulted on the municipal electronic headquarters, is open from June 10 to July 1, 2026. The objective is to support initiatives from the city's cultural sector that bring special relevance and impact, whether due to their uniqueness, being launched for the first time, or celebrating anniversaries.
The eligible projects cover various disciplines, including visual arts and digital culture, performing arts, audiovisual, music, transdisciplinary projects, popular culture, literature, historical memory, design, architecture, and urban art. Modalities include anniversaries, celebrations, new projects or first editions, and extraordinary strategic projects.
Obligated entities, according to Law 39/2015, must submit their applications electronically. Individuals can also submit them preferably online, although there is an exceptional option for in-person submission at the General Registry offices.
